However, because of that I don’t know how saving or playing over multiple sessions will work (I do still have all my progress, though.) We were aware of this and pulled an all-nighter to do it in one go so as to avoid any lost progress. Just be aware of what you’re getting yourself into. It’s finicky and players have encountered soft-locks and have had save data corrupted. This is by no means a fully polished split-screen experience. Anyway, just a couple notes to anyone who wants to try this: Yeah, not everything is optimized, but it works and it was such an incredible experience! It’s become one of my favorite Halo co-op experiences, and getting to do it with two of my favorite people by my side made it all the better! It makes me especially sad that this will probably get patched out soon. Here’s a guide on how to do it (credit to the posted user for figuring it out):Īnyway, after 16 hours I just finished campaign with my brother and cousin on the same Xbox Series S console this morning. This glitch will probably get patched out quickly based on 343i track record with this kind of thing, so I’d say get it while the getting’s good. I’m sure everyone’s heard, but in case you haven’t, 343i has nixed splitcreen local co-op, but there’s a glitch that allows people to do it on an Xbox series S or X.
